FUTUROS EMERGENTES

FUTUROS EMERGENTES es un proyecto que se articula entre la REDIV - Red Iberoamericana de Videodanza y artes mediales, y L'Abri – Ginebra, de Suiza, con el fin de generar un dispositivo de movilidad para artistas de artes vivas emergentes, entre la región suramericana y el país helvético. Esta iniciativa cuenta con el apoyo de Pro Helvetia Fundación Suiza para la Cultura.

FUTUROS EMERGENTES incluye una programación que comprende el período 2022-2024, en una modalidad híbrida, virtual y presencial. Todas las actividades motivan diversos modos de producción colaborativos, que conectan el trabajo de 23 festivales iberoamericanos de videodanza y la vinculación de diversos artistas y gestores culturales, generando acciones entre Suramérica y Suiza en colaboración con la residencia artistica L’Abri - Ginebra. Las actividades se abordan desde el intercambio de saberes, culturas, lenguajes, como eje principal de la vivencia.

FUTUROS EMERGENTES abre sus caminos sin mapas, utilizando como brújula la escucha de las diferencias y el respeto a la diversidad de trayectorias. Afectar y ser afectado ha sido el hilo marginal a través del cual el proyecto ha expandido sus redes y temporalidades.

Buscando construir puentes entre sus etapas anteriores y futuras, así como entre sus participantes, la segunda residencia virtual del proyecto propició la instalación de espacios de colaboración entre participantes, estimulando el diálogo creativo, la profundización de la investigación iniciada en etapas anteriores del proyecto y la creación de objetos-ofrendas.

FUTUROS EMERGENTES is a project articulated between REDIV – the Red Iberoamericana de Videodanza y artes mediales, and L'Abri – an artistic residency space in Geneva, Switzerland. Its objective is to develop a mobility device for emerging live arts artists in the South American region and Switzerland. This initiative is supported by Pro Helvetia, the Swiss Foundation for Culture.

The FUTUROS EMERGENTES programme spans the period 2022-2024 and employs a hybrid virtual and on-site modality. The activities encourage the utilization of diverse modes of collaborative production, facilitating the interconnection of the work of 23 Ibero-American Screen Dance festivals and the linking of diverse artists and cultural managers. This generates actions between South America and Switzerland in collaboration with the artistic residency L'Abri - Geneva. The activities are approached from the exchange of knowledge, cultures, languages, as the main axis of the experience.

FUTUROS EMERGENTES opens paths without maps, using as its compass the listening to differences and the respect for the diversity of trajectories. The process of affecting and being affected has constituted a marginal thread through which FUTUROS EMERGENTES has expanded its networks and temporalities.

In an attempt to build bridges between the project previous and future stages, as well as between its participants, its second virtual residency encouraged the installation of collaborative spaces among the participants, stimulating creative and affective dialogue, deepening the research initiated in previous phases of the project and the creation of objects-offerings.
